Our strategy remains to offer high quality, customer-orientated communications solutions worldwide. We recognise our responsibility to minimise our environmental impact by continually reducing emissions generated by our business activities and by offering a wide range of carbon-neutral services.
Full liberalisation of the German mail market came into effect on 1 January 2008. MAIL is actively consolidating its position as the top provider of mail and parcel services in Germany: "The Postal Service for Germany (Die Post für Deutschland)". In addition opportunities in liberalised markets outside Germany continue to be evaluated.
We are securing our performance in core mail and parcel businesses by developing innovative mail, parcel and dialogue marketing solutions, by optimising the costs of our transport and delivery networks and by increasing flexibility in response to changing demand.
The growth strategy of MAIL seeks actively to embrace the changing communication behaviour of our customers by offering them - as senders and receivers - simple, secure and reliable communication services which remove the barriers between the physical and digital worlds.
