Declaration of Conformity
The Board of Management and the Supervisory Board of the Company are obliged to declare annually that the recommendations of the Government Commission's German Corporate Governance Code were and will be complied with, or those recommendations that were or will not be applied (section 161 of the Aktiengesetz - German Public Companies Act).
Declaration of Conformity Fiscal Year 2009
“The Board of Management and the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Post AG declare that the recommendations of the Government Commission's German Corporate Governance Code in the version dated June 6, 2008 have been complied with since issuance of the last Declaration of Conformity in December 2008 and that they intend to comply with all recommendations of the Code in the version dated June 18, 2009 in the future.
No. 3.8 is complied with in so far, as the deductible for members of the Supervisory Board will be increased to the requested extent with the next amendment of the insurance contracts entering into force during the first half of 2010.”
