Shareholder Structure
Deutsche Post AG's share capital is composed of 1,209,015,874 non par value registered shares (registered shares with a principal book value of €1). All shareholders are kept in an electronic share register. You can see how the share capital has developed since the initial public offering on 20 November 2000 under Share capital.
KfW Bankengruppe holds approximately 368 million shares, corresponding to 30.5% of the share capital. The free float is 69.5% of which 19.8% were held in the USA, 11.1% in Germany, 29.7% in the United Kingdom, 5.6% in France and 3.4% in Switzerland (refers to institutional investors named in the share register with their share of free float of around 81.5% in July 2010). 7.1% were held by retail investors.
